Franklin ArtWorks - Minneapoils, MN
This historic design/build project was envisioned to transform the dilapidated Franklin Theatre, one of the city’s oldest movie theaters, into an art gallery and performance space. The renovation revealed several silent-era features of the building, hidden for over 60 years. The performance space boasts the theaters original plaster movie screen and proscenia. The brick façade features a 29-foot long stained glass window, 35-foot-long arched entry, and second level open air balcony facing Franklin Avenue.
