As President & CEO, Hoyt leads the business activities and guides strategic direction for Shaw-Lundquist. Since starting with the company in 1987, he has been an integral member of the management team through innovating, fostering growth, and improving processes.
Recognized by the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal as 2017’s Most Admired CEO, Hoyt carries on the founding principles of Shaw-Lundquist—integrity, honesty, fairness, and a strong work ethic.
With a passion for Building Better Lives, Hoyt works tirelessly to better the communities Shaw-Lundquist works in. A board member for the National Forum for Diversity in Construction, Hoyt is a strong advocate for the inclusion of women and minority owned businesses that operate in our industry, often providing guidance and mentoring. By developing a company reputation grounded in integrity, Hoyt’s focus as CEO continues to be on building strong relationships with his clients, to not only tackle complex construction projects, but to provide value to their communities.
