Description:
The new Church of St. Michael in Farmington celebrated their first mass on Palm Sunday, 2000. This large facility has an education and office wing, a large structural timber & glass sanctuary and a multi-purpose room.
During the construction, we were able to reclaim and re-use some of the sentimental and historical artifacts from the original facility built in 1913. Some of the stained glass windows were removed and restored for use in the new church, also the Stations of The Cross and statues of Mary, Joseph and St. Michael were salvaged for use in the new facility. In addition to the large open sanctuary with seating for 800, the facility incorporates a social hall, chapel, and an educational wing.
