Thanks to a generous gift of $900,000 from Deborah Robbie Olson, given in the name of her mother Elizabeth Lyle Robbie, and $1.2 million appropriated from the Minnesota state legislature, the University of Minnesota built a home of its own for the women's soccer program, the Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium. Dedicated in 1999, the $2 million Minnesota Soccer Stadium is the best women's soccer stadium in the nation. State of the art locker rooms, club house, athletic training area and Minnesota Soccer Hall of Fame Room. It is the only women's soccer facility with a lighted game AND practice field.

The new soccer facility seats 1,000 spectators. Along with the primary playing field and practice fields, the two-story main building contains restrooms, food services, athletic training, media, team and club room facilities. A ticket kiosk and plaza area are outside of the stadium. The lighted-for-television softball facility has both grandstand (bench-back) and stadium (box-chair) seating for 1,000 spectators. Along with the primary playing field complete with dugouts and bullpens, a two-story building behind home plate includes restrooms, food services, athletic training, a substantial press box and team meeting facilities. A ticket kiosk and plaza area are built at the entrance to the stadium, along with additional practice facilities.
