City of Henderson Moser Building HVAC Upgrade
The Moser Building HVAC Upgrades project entails a complete replacement of the HVAC infrastructure for the City of Henderson’s Building Department and Inspections Services. The original HVAC system for the building contained multiple split systems, which was replaced with new commercial equipment such as a chiller, cooling tower and boilers. The Building Services was still in operation as construction was performed in coordination with the City of Henderson to close off specific areas. The existing grid ceiling was taken down and reinstalled with new seismic upgrades. Majority of the existing ductwork was removed and replaced with new duct to tie into the new mechanical units. A new room was built specifically for the chiller equipment and pumps, whereas the new cooling tower and boilers were located outside. The estimated construction duration was 120 days to complete, the actual duration was 98 days to complete.
