The Park - MGM
The area is a lush promenade -- featuring the Bliss Dance sculpture, meta-quartzite stone sourced from a local quarry, trees, native plantings, monumental shade structures fitted with theatrical LED lighting, 100 feet of dynamic cascading water walls, and patio dining. Sustainable elements throughout The Park include drought-tolerant desert landscaping, water conservation systems, locally sourced and recycled materials and energy-efficient processes.
At the grand opening of The Park, MGM’s CEO Jim Murren received the 2016 Water Hero Award from the Southern Nevada Water Authority recognizing businesses or individuals dedicated to water conservation and devoted to saving millions of gallons of water annually.
Mandalay Bay Seascape
The Shaw-Lundquist Las Vegas crew completed this stunning ballroom with inspiring views of aquatic predators. The 1,675 square foot space includes an outdoor patio and lounge, and a ballroom with four large floor to ceiling picture windows framing the shark aquarium.
Caesars Palace Towers
Palace Tower is a 29-story luxury wing of the Caesars’ Hotel & Casino resort in Las Vegas. This phase included renovating 1,066 typical rooms, 23 Senator suites, 30 Luxury suites, and 12 Presidential suites on the 29th floor. The project includes complete demolition and remodel of bathrooms, room finishes, and fixture upgrades. The suites include high-end finishes such as gold faucets and gold plated toilet supply lines, as well as elaborate upscale finishes throughout.
The project was completed on an aggressive schedule with a turnover of 1 floor per week. All new bathrooms incorporated upgraded mechanical systems with specialty stones and fixtures. Shaw-Lundquist completed the projects ahead of schedule, in just 7 months, allowing rooms back to market sooner than anticipated. The Tower remained occupied during construction with only 6 floors out of service at any given time.

“The Shaw-Lindquist team’s commitment to flexibility and professional diligence throughout the preconstruction process, we one of the main reasons the construction implementation and FF&E fit out for the project seemed so easily achievable.”
“Shaw-Lundquist has been a great partner to work with on both design-build and more traditional design-bid-build projects. Their attention to detail and transparent reporting of job costs make my team’s job easier.”
“As the Director of Preconstruction for Caesars Entertainment- Worldwide, I am repeatedly tasked with understanding how much projects cost based on very little information. Shaw-Lundquist, and specifically Chris Rowe, are one of a very small group of companies I completely trust to partner with in these scenarios. Their ability to conceptualize a project is second to none. I have worked with them on projects ranging from hundreds of thousands to upwards of a hundred million.
I would recommend them for a project of any size. If the project is complicated, budget and time constrained, or design challenged Shaw-Lundquist is a partner that can be trusted to get you to the finish line every time.”
Shawn A. Coffin
"Our company couldn’t be happier with the problem solving, determination and will to do what needed to get done for our benefit that Shaw-Lundquist demonstrated throughout the project."
