Shaw-Lundquist is a second generation, family-owned, and Minority-Owned Business Enterprise (MBE). Since opening our doors in 1974, Shaw-Lundquist has demonstrated our efforts towards helping minority and women owned businesses in construction. We were ahead of our time and our culture grew out of an authentic commitment to diversity and inclusion. Our founder, Fred Shaw, saw construction as his opportunity to succeed in America and our employees continue Fred’s vision when it comes to helping other small, minority, and women owned businesses succeed.
Building Capacity in Our Communities
Shaw-Lundquist is a founding member of the Minnesota Chapter of the National Association of Minority Contractors and we are active in the national chapter as well. We continue to provide leadership in many other organizations that actively seek to develop construction expertise – both companies and individuals – that will result in a dramatic expansion of diverse participation in the construction industry. This is not a requirement for Shaw-Lundquist, but rather a passionate aspect of our mission.
