Finance & Commerce announced the Top Projects of 2019 Honorees and among the impressive collection of projects, Shaw-Lundquist Associates was named a winner for two projects.
1222 Fourth St. SE, Minneapolis | Owner: Hennipin County Facility Services | Contractor: Shaw-Lundquist Associates | Architect: MacDonald & Mack Architects, Quinn Evans Architects | Engineer: Mattson Macdonald Young Inc., Nelson-Rudie & Associates
The project was a complete renovation of the existing library. The scope of work included the removal of a below-grade parking structure, waterproofing of the lower level, complete new roof, and an open floor plan concept that included opening up the main level to provide natural lighting to the lower level from the 22 skylights on the roof.
