Project Description
A 64,000 sf renovation and build-out on the University’s St. Paul campus, it is the nation’s first public research building dedicated to microbial and plant genomics. It has extensive technology and advanced mechanical and electric systems for environmental control of research labs. The Cargill Building was awarded the AIA Minneapolis Merit Award; the jury citing its unique adaption to a challenging site and an innovative use of materials.
