Project Description
The parking lot and infrastructure upgrades at the Charles M. Schulz Highland Arena were completed on two sides of the historic Clarence Wiginton-designed, Kasota Stone water tower at Snelling and Ford Parkway. The central component of the project was the demolition and removal of a 1920s underground concrete reservoir that at one time held 17,000 gallons of water. Its removal lowered the grade to accommodate future sports fields and improved stormwater management.
